Zynab Meakin

Zynab studied for a Master of Pharmacy degree at the University of Bath and graduated in 2011.

As a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist with extensive experience in both clinical and senior management roles, Zynab brings a wealth of expertise to her role at The Independent Pharmacy. With a strong background in pharmacy management and a passion for improving patient outcomes, Zynab offers exceptional care and support to her patients, combining her clinical knowledge with a genuine enthusiasm for healthcare. With a diverse career spanning community, hospital, and GP settings, Zynab has built a strong foundation in patient care.

Zynab is an Independent Prescriber and Specialist Pharmacist with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice (Secondary Care) and an Independent Prescribing qualification from the University of Bath. She achieved distinction in her postgraduate studies, underscoring her expertise in managing complex medication regimes and patient care and has been actively prescribing since qualifying in 2017.

Zynab is passionate about continuous learning, regularly attending professional development sessions to stay updated on the latest treatments, medicines, and pharmaceutical legislation. She prides herself on her ability to build trusting relationships with her patients, offering them tailored advice and support to manage their health.

Outside of work, Zynab enjoys a variety of hobbies that help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. She is a passionate artist, skilled in playing both the piano and guitar, and has a deep love for languages. Zynab enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially with her two young children, whom she loves to engage in creative activities and outdoor adventures.
