Buy Mounjaro Online - UK Weight Loss Injection

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a once-weekly injectable medication that can help you lose weight by activating GIP and GLP-1 receptors. When activated, these receptors help to control your appetite, tricking your brain into thinking that you aren’t hungry, and slowing your digestion so that you feel fuller for longer.

Mounjaro was originally developed as a treatment for type 2 diabetes, but has now been approved to help with weight management. Treatment starts with a low 2.5mg dose of Mounjaro, and your pharmacist will gradually increase the dose. This gives your body the chance to adjust to the treatment, which can help to minimise side effects. Your maximum dose will be a careful balance of achieving the desired effect (weight loss) while keeping side effects to a minimum.

The Mounjaro KwikPen makes administration simple - it’s been designed to make self-injection as easy as possible.

About Mounjaro

Mounjaro is a prescription-only medication that helps with weight management through its dual-action mechanism. It activates GIP and GLP-1 receptors to control your appetite and slow digestion. This makes you feel fuller faster and for longer, which in turn helps you to eat less.

It comes as a subcutaneous injection, which means you inject it just under the skin and only need to use it once a week. Mounjaro has different strengths, so you start low and gradually increase the strength. Different strengths mean the treatment can be tailored to suit individual needs.

How Does Mounjaro Work?

Mounjaro contains tirzepatide, which works by activating two hormone receptors - GIP and GLP-1. When these are activated, it helps to reduce your appetite by making you feel fuller more quickly. They also slow down how fast your stomach empties. This can help you want to eat less without feeling like you’re missing out on food.

Mounjaro also helps balance your blood sugar levels, which can lower cravings for unhealthy sugary or high-calorie foods. This makes it easier for you to make healthy choices with the food you do eat.

How To Use Mounjaro

Mounjaro comes in an easy-to-use self-administered injection. You use the KwikPen once a week at around the same time on the same day each week. It’s a subcutaneous injection, which means it’s injected under the skin, in areas like your abdomen, thigh or upper arm.

It’s extremely important to follow the detailed instructions in the leaflet that comes with your medication.

Each KwikPen has four doses of the medication, and you usually start with 2.5mg once a week for four weeks. Your pharmacist will gradually increase the strength to minimise the side effects you experience. The KwikPen makes administering your medication super simple.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Mounjaro is tirzepatide. It also contains inactive ingredients, including sodium phosphate dibasic heptahydrate, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, and water for injection. The KwikPen version also contains benzyl alcohol (preservative), glycerin, and phenol (preservative).

Side Effects

Like all medications, Mounjaro can cause side effects in some people. Not everyone will get side effects, and you may only get some of them. Possible side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, decreased appetite, indigestion, constipation, and abdominal pain. These are usually mild to moderate and typically improve as your body adjusts to the treatment.

Serious side effects are rare but can include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, and allergic reactions. If you experience side effects, speak to your prescriber to discuss the next steps.

Warnings

Mounjaro is not suitable for you if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2), or are allergic to tirzepatide or any other of the ingredients.

You should also not take Mounjaro if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding. It may harm your baby.

You should let your doctor know if you have a history of pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, or kidney problems, as these mean that Mounjaro may not be right for you. If you’re taking oral contraceptives, you should note that Mounjaro can make them less effective, so you should add a non-hormonal method and/or barrier method, such as condoms.
