    Robitussin Mucus Cough and Congestion Relief 100ml helps to alleviate stubborn mucus coughs and congestion by controlling the cough reflex and providing a soothing effect. Suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years, it works to alleviate the discomfort of a mucus-laden cough.

    Always follow the directed usage instructions. If your cough is accompanied by any kind of illness, ensure you stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. If you are experiencing pain or a fever alongside your cough, it is safe to take painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen along with Robitussin.

    The active ingredient in Robitussin Mucus Cough and Congestion Relief is guaifenesin, part of a group of medicines known as expectorants. It effectively provides relief from persistent mucus coughs and congestion. The non-drowsy formula (Pseudoephedrine) ensures it can be used throughout the day. Its liquid format makes it easy to administer.

    This product is for oral use only. Robitussin is NOT suitable for children under the age of 12.

    Adults, the elderly and children over the age of 12: Take 10ml up to 4 times daily, as required.

    Active ingredients: Each 5 ml of liquid contains: Guaifenesin 100 mg, Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 30 mg

    Also contains: Maltitol (E965), Sorbitol Solution 70%, Carmellose Sodium, Disodium Edetate, Sodium Benzoate (E211), Sodium Cyclamate, Amaranth (E123), Caramel (E150), Ethanol 2.7% v/v

    Like all medicines, Robitussin Mucus Cough and Congestion Relief can cause side effects, although not everybody will experience them. If you experience any of the following, discontinue using this product and seek advice from your doctor:

    • Allergic reactions such as, itchy skin or rashes, difficulty breathing, faster heart rate or swelling of the face or throat
    • Stomach upset
    • Dizziness, drowsiness mental confusion
