Hylo-Forte Eye Drops Information

What are Hylo-Forte Eye Drops?

Hylo-Forte Eye Drops are preservative and phosphate-free eye drops that contain 2mg/ml of the active ingredient Sodium Hyaluronate. These drops are instilled into each eye, as required, to calm irritation and lubricate eyes that are severely or persistently affected by dry eyes.

Each bottle of Hylo-Forte Eye Drops contains 300 sterile drops that can be used for up to 6 months of opening. The formula is powerful yet gentle making it a fantastic treatment option for people who wear contact lenses or who have recently had surgery on their eyes who require some temporary ocular lubrication to tackle dryness or irritation.

What are Hylo-Forte Eye Drops used for?

Hylo-Forte Eye Drops have been designed to help ease symptoms of dry eyes that may be severe or chronic by lubricating the surface of the eyes. These symptoms may include:

  • Itching
  • Irritation and stinging
  • Redness
  • Blurred vision
  • Light sensitivity

If you are unsure if you are suffering from symptoms of dry eyes it is recommended that you discuss these with a doctor or pharmacist to ensure you get the right treatment for you.

How do Hylo-Forte Eye Drops work?

Hylo-Forte Eye Drops contain the active ingredient Sodium Hyaluronate 2mg/ml. This is a substance that occurs naturally in the body and is effective at relieving symptoms of dry eyes. When instilled directly into the eyes it hydrates and lubricates the surface of the eye helping to calm irritation and itching whilst protecting them from further dehydration.
