About Evana Heavy Period Relief Tablets
What are Evana Heavy Period Relief Tablets?
Women experiencing heavy periods often find themselves inconvenienced, uncomfortable, and even in pain. It can be overwhelming to deal with the excessive bleeding, cramps, and other symptoms that come with this condition. Luckily, there is a solution that can bring relief: Evana Heavy Period Relief Tablets.
What’s in Evana Heavy Period Relief Tablets?
Evana Heavy Period Relief Tablets are specially formulated to address the issues associated with heavy periods. These tablets contain 500mg of tranexamic acid which is a medication that has been widely used to treat heavy periods, also known as menorrhagia. It works by preventing blood clots from breaking down and reducing the amount of blood loss during menstruation.
The Science Behind Tranexamic Acid
Tranexamic acid exerts its effect by binding to the lysine-binding sites of plasminogen and plasmin, thereby blocking their interaction with fibrin. Fibrin is a protein involved in the formation of blood clots. By preventing the breakdown of clot-forming proteins, tranexamic acid promotes clot stability, reducing excessive bleeding.
Moreover, tranexamic acid has been found to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can further contribute to its efficacy in controlling bleeding. Studies have shown that it can inhibit certain inflammatory mediators, potentially reducing tissue damage and swelling at the site of injury or surgery.
Directions
Evana should be used only after heavy menstrual bleeding has begun. The suggested dosage is:
- Take 2 Evana tablets 3 times daily as needed, but for no more than 4 days.
- This dosage may be increased to 4 times daily for very heavy menstrual bleeding, but no more than 8 tablets (4g) should be taken in one day.
- Evana can be used for as long as your periods remain regular and heavy
- However, if you have used the medication as directed for 3 periods and have not seen a reduction in your menstrual bleeding, you should consult your pharmacist or doctor. They might suggest an alternative non-hormonal treatment or a hormonal medication.
It is important to always read the label and follow the advice of your doctor when taking Evana.
Do not take Evana Heavy Period Relief if your periods are not heavy.
