It's advised to continue administering the prescribed dosage for a maximum of five days, until the symptoms have subsided.

Benylin Infant's Cough Syrup

Babies under 3 months: Do not give to babies under 3 months.

Children 3 months to 1 year: One 5ml spoonful.

Children 1 to 5 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls.

Give the dose 3 or 4 times within 24 hours, if needed. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Each 5ml of liquid contains 0.75ml of Glycerin.

Also contains: Maltitol liquid (E965), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium benzoate, Citric acid monohydrate, Sodium citrate, Apple flavouring 5112OIE (containing propylene glycol), Purified water.
