Sudafed Decongestant Information
What is Sudafed Decongestant Liquid?
Sudafed Decongestant Liquid is a non-drowsy solution that contains Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride as it's active ingredient. It offers swift, efficient alleviation from congested sinuses, a stuffy nose, and catarrh.
Every bottle contains 100ml of decongestant liquid, suitable for both adults and children over the age of 6 years, making it an ideal option for families seeking relief from the discomfort of congestion.
What is Sudafed Decongestant Liquid used for?
Sudafed Decongestant Liquid provide relief from a blocked nose and sinuses which have become inflamed as a result of the common cold or flu or as a symptom of some allergies such as hay fever.
How does Sudafed work as a decongestant?
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages and reducing swelling in the nasal mucosa. This constriction of blood vessels leads to a decrease in nasal congestion and helps to relieve symptoms such as stuffy or blocked nose.
When you take Sudafed Decongestant Liquid orally, the pseudoephedrine is absorbed into your bloodstream and then circulated throughout your body. Once it reaches the nasal tissues, it starts to work by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages, which in turn reduces the swelling and congestion.
