Viagra Or Roses? What The Nation Buys On Valentines Day
Valentine’s Day is typically associated with boxes of chocolate, cuddly toys, and bouquets of red roses. But we have noticed some stiff rises in sales of some of our treatments that might surprise you.
Sales for Viagra have risen noticeably over the years, but last year they climaxed during February as Valentine’s Day arrived.
Purchases of the weight loss tablet, Orlistat, also increased around Valentine’s Day but didn’t reach the heights of sales numbers for the same drug during the summer months.
As well as an increase in sales we’ve found a change in internet search habits revealing consumers are increasingly looking for pharmaceutical products online to enhance their Valentine’s Day experience.
Google searches for ‘buy Viagra’ spiked in February last year, as couples looked for new ways to spice up their sex life after a Valentine’s night of passion.
Trend data also revealed an increase in search popularity for terms like ‘STIs’ as well as the term ‘engagement rings’, while searches for ‘red roses’ dramatically decreased the week of Valentine’s Day.
With the rise of online pharmacies offering a variety of health products at competitive prices, it’s never been easier to buy performance-enhancing and physique-altering products online.
However, with this convenience comes the need to stay safe. Viagra is beneficial for those suffering from erectile dysfunction issues, and weight loss tablets such as Orlistat can be highly effective at maintaining a healthy weight.
But it’s important to know exactly what you’re taking and how to take it. Here at The Independent Pharmacy, we value your safety. We are with all UK safety regulations, so you can be sure you will receive only the safest treatments and advice when you order with us.
